WSO is a Unified Champion school
Special Olympics UAE Unified Robotics program is an enrichment experience aiming to involve neurodiverse children, in mainstream education, to the fields of STEM and robotics.
The program aims to inspire them to consider STEM for further education and/or as a career path. WSO is a Unified Champion school. Neurodiverse students join mainstream students to create meaningful relationships, learn effective communication skills, and explore different learning pathways, as they explore Lego therapy-based activities and robotics. Four WSO students participated in the Unified Robotics Challenge.The Challenge was held on 28th Oct in Dubai. WSO Team won bronze medals in three categories Most inclusive and Creative team and they were also overall 2nd runner up. Boys also give a short presentation to year 3s that how autonomous cars / robots are used in silicon Oasis for food delivery.
