Pathway 2
The IBCP is the perfect pathway for students who wish to access a professionally focused, university-recognised programme combining academic rigour with a career specialism. This pathway, created by choosing one BTEC option and combining it with two IBDP subjects and a set of core professional skills, earns equivalency status in the UAE, offering a route to Emirati universities as well as hundreds of others around the world.
The Core Programme, an essential component of the IBCP, includes an introduction to a second language, an ethical study related to the student’s chosen career pathway, service-led learning, and a course in personal and professional skills required in the workplace.
Entrance onto the IBCP is secured by achieving five GCSEs at grade 4 or above with grade 5 or above in the BTEC and IBDP subjects chosen.
