GCSE Results
2020
We would like to congratulate all of our GCSE students and their families on their record breaking achievements in the 2020 GCSE Examinations. We expected the hard work and talent of this group of young people to be recognised by improved results on previous years, but they have achieved something truly phenomenal.
55% of all grades awarded were 9-7 (A*-A) with 89% of all grades awarded were Grade 5 (A*-B) or above.
A staggering 45% of students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at Grades 9-7 (A*-A) and 93% of them achieved 5 or more GCSE at grades 9-4 (including English and Mathematics).
There are too many record breaking results to mention, however, notable highlights include:
- 100% of all entries for Triple Science were graded 7 or above
- 100% of Dance grades were graded 7 or above
- 90% of all students met or exceeded their personal targets in English, Maths or Science
- 51% of all results within English and Mathematics were at grades 9-7
- 100% of students achieved a 6 (B) or above in World Literature and Music
In addition to congratulating the students for their achievement we would like to thank the parents and families of our students for their support, and the teachers of Year 11 for their continued hard work in pushing them to work hard and achieve under such unpredictable circumstances.
2019
- 96% of students gained five or more GCSEs with A*-C grades (9-4 grades)
- 37% of all entries were A or A* grades (9-7 grades)
- 9% of our students gained A or A* grades (9-7 grades) in all subjects
Our first A’ Level results will be expected in Summer 2021.
